Ned’s Dream Foundation was established August of 2016, after the passing of Edmund “Ned” Russell.

Ned was a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. He was also a coach dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of baseball. He formed an instructional baseball camp to hone kids’ baseball skills. He aspired to make an average player an exceptional player, and an average young man, an exceptional young man. In his passing, Ned’s Field of Dreams is now a commitment to youth in sports.

Our goal is to facilitate Ned’s dream by providing skills clinics, scholarship funds, and much needed financial help to athletes through youth baseball, and other athletic programs in his name.
